The chamber has established annual events in the community that have proven to be very worthwhile projects to be involved with. Chamber of Commerce Scholarships The chamber issues scholarships each year to two graduating students from Oromocto High School. One scholarship is general in nature and the other is awarded to a student who has chosen business/entrepreneurial pursuits. Pioneer Days Each year, the Town of Oromocto celebrates Pioneer Days. The festivities include four days of concerts, fairs, children's activities, parades, community suppers, etc. In past years, the chamber has been actively involved in supporting this well-attended community event.
