Welcome to the Oromocto and Area Chamber of Commerce website, a Chamber that celebrates its members!

Known as "Canada's Model Town," Oromocto is located on the scenic banks of the St. John and Oromocto Rivers, just a short 15 minute drive from the capital city of Fredericton, New Brunswick. With an ever-expanding population in the town and the surrounding area, Oromocto’s potential sees no limits. The front gates of Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, eastern Canada’s largest military training facility of over 3,000 military personnel and 500 civilian employees, are located within the town’s limits. Adjacent to the base is Camp Argonaut which employs 350 staff and is responsible for training 1200 cadets annually.

Oromocto boasts a Days Inn and Conference Centre, Oromocto Mall, Sobeys, Atlantic Superstore, the largest Canadian Tire east of Montreal, a newly expanded Roblynn Home Hardware and Furniture Store and many restaurants. 

Oromocto serves its residents with a public hospital, elementary, middle and high schools, industrial parks, library, military museum, marina, Gage Golf and Curling Club, many public parks, and a weekly newspaper.  Oromocto has an experienced, dynamic business presence that makes this town the place to do business in New Brunswick.
